With over 80 locations nationwide, GenesisCare is the largest provider of radiation oncology, cardiology and sleep treatments in Australia. Their sleep specialist department, Genesis SleepCare, is a leading sleep consulting, diagnostic and treatment group that treats patients through one of the largest networks of in-patient sleep centres in Australia.
So when Genesis SleepCare approached Priority to discuss the feasibility of refurbishing their Auchenflower clinic over several stages, we were thrilled to implement solutions and a strategy around their needs and to provide them with a full turnkey, end to end experience. The first stage of the clinic’s refurbishment comprised delivery of tenancy alterations to the administration area, relocations to private consultation rooms and the creation of an open plan waiting area.
The original waiting room shared a space with a client consultation window. This design made the front area congested, whilst not allowing for a desirable amount of patient privacy. In order to rectify this, our team demolished the consultation area to allow for a larger, more comfortable waiting room and relocated the consultation space to an existing office.
An additional wall was erected in the administration area to allow for a separate working space; while the common areas, several consultation rooms and offices were repainted and had ambient lighting installed to create a more appealing environment for patients and employees.
Although it is only the initial step in GenesisCare’s overall refurbishment, these minor changes have made drastic improvements to the clinic.
