Slattery Australia, a leading Quantity Surveying and Cost Engineering firm, contracted Priority to construct their new office fitout.
The design had previously been completed by another architectural firm, and was in-line with other Slattery offices throughout Australia. But Slattery needed a competent construction and project delivery team for construction.
Slattery engaged Priority because of our comprehensive knowledge of construction and project delivery, and our unique team structure that includes dedicated pre-contracts and construction management personnel. These roles, along with estimation and project administration support successful project delivery.
The works included; demolition, mechanical, electrical, fire and hydraulic services and procurement and construction of the fitout. We were able to maintain the design intent of the original architect and value engineer the project to achieve cost savings in order to meet Slattery’s budget. The compact program meant that strong emphasis was placed on planning and construction management. A detailed program was developed prior to the commencement on site with milestones clearly defined. Our construction manager and project administrator oversaw all works onsite, supported the client with their requirements, and managed contractors and suppliers to ensure the accuracy of the project. The team also ensured that work on site was carried out safely and to the highest quality. The result was a leading edge, compliant office fitout for Slattery.
