SapientNitro is an international marketing and advertising company specialising in connecting businesses and their brands to customers in an ever-changing world.
When their lease came up for renewal, they decided to move forward on a refurbishment to their office with the primary objectives to create space for additional staff, design a more cohesive work environment, meet the global branding guidelines of the company and modernise the presentation of the space for both staff and clients.
Our overall design met the objective of creating an office that conforms to global office guidelines, with a high-energy vibe that encourages vision and teamwork. References to the SapientNitro brand are inherent in all aspects of the design, from workstation screens to cabinet handles. The open plan work area is designed to encourage collaboration and innovation, and varied casual meeting areas also serve to facilitate interactions among team members. Where possible we retained features that would continue to work within the new design, thus saving the client both time and money.
Priority worked on the office refurbishment parallel to the building owner carrying out basic building upgrades. Therefore, two separate teams worked in the office space at one time, presenting unique challenges. In addition, SapientNitro’s current flooring was concrete, so the overall acoustics of the space were not optimised for typical office interactions. This was also their current office and their team continued to occupy the space and continue operations while the refurbishments were progressing. These complex factors necessitated extremely detailed, organised project management and site supervision.
SapientNitro now has a modern office that reflects the organisation’s emphasis on communication and innovation. The office meets their global office guidelines, helping to foster team cohesiveness and brand awareness worldwide. They also have room to expand their Brisbane team as they grow. Our team’s thorough communication, planning and project management skills made a complex project site much easier on the client.
