Growthpoint is an ASX listed real estate investment trust with a portfolio of properties across Brisbane. End of Trip Facilities are designated places that support cyclists, joggers and walkers in using alternative ways to travel to work rather than driving or taking public transport.

With these sorts of facilities becoming the norm in A grade buildings, Growthpoint realised the need for these amenities within 333 Ann Street for existing tenants and to entice potential tenants to the building.

Another architectural firm completed the initial design and Priority was selected to further develop the initial design concept and construct the space. Having completed substantial work within 333 Ann Street, Priority has a thorough understanding of the building. This combined with our comprehensive knowledge of construction and project delivery, and our unique team structure that includes dedicated pre-contracts and construction management personnel. These roles, along with design, estimation and project administration supported successful project delivery.

The works included; demolition, mechanical, electrical, fire and hydraulic services and procurement and construction of the End of Trip Facility. This was a secure, unisex entryway that leads to separate, secure male and female amenities areas with lockers and change room facilities.

We were able to maintain the design intent of the original architect and value engineer the project to achieve cost savings in order to meet budget. The compact program meant that strong emphasis was placed on planning and construction management. A detailed program was developed prior to the commencement on site with milestones clearly defined. Our construction manager and project administrator oversaw all works onsite, supported the client with their requirements, and managed contractors and suppliers to ensure the accuracy of the project. The team also ensured that work on site was carried out safely and to the highest quality. The new facility is now a modern, functional and compliant space that has become an excellent addition to the building.
